Pedro Pascal's sister Lux Pascal revealed her emotional reaction to Joel's death in 'The Last of Us' season 2, calling it too violent to watch
The Last of Us viewers received a rude awakening when the second episode of season 2 premiered on April 20 and Pedro’s beloved character, Joel Miller, was murdered by Kaitlyn Dever ’s Abby. Liane Hentscher / HBOPedro also told Entertainment Weekly that he doesn’t “spend a lot of time thinking about” the show because his departure was so emotionally charged. The HBO series — based on the Naughty Dog video game of the same name — premiered in January 2023, introducing viewers to the dynamic pair of Joel (Pedro Pascal) and Ellie (Bella Ramsey).
