Pedro Pascal Says ‘I’m a Little Drunk’ During Teary-Eyed SAG Awards Acceptance Speech: ‘I Thought I Could Get Drunk! I’m Making a Fool of Myself’
Pedro Pascal admitted he was a little drunk while accepting the SAG Award for "The Last of Us." He added: "I'm making a fool of myself."
Pedro Pascal won the SAG Award for male actor in a drama series thanks to his role on HBO’s “ The Last of Us,” but he wasn’t exactly sober when he took the stage to give his acceptance speech. Pascal started to fight back tears as he thanked his family, only to immediately bring his drunken acceptance speech to an end by saying: “I’m going to have a panic attack and I’m going to leave.” He memorably joked at the 2023 Emmy Awards that a recent shoulder injury was because “Keiran Culkan beat the shit out of me.” Pascal attended the event in an arm sling.
