Pedro Pascal opens up about playing the latest version of Reed Richard AKA Mr. Fantastic in Marvel’s Fantastic Four reboot, which arrives in theaters in 2025.

Fresh off his recent win at the SAG Awards for Best Actor in a Drama Series, Pascal is set to pivot from the gritty, post-apocalyptic world of The Last of Us Season 2 (which is currently in production) to the superhero realm as he gears up to play Reed Richards in Marvel’s Fantastic Four. The previous Fantastic Four movies, while popular, were not well-received by fans or critics, and Marvel Studios has an opportunity to right the wrongs of the past and deliver a feature that is true to the spirit of the comics. With production slated to begin in summer 2024, Marvel fans can look forward to the film’s journey to theaters in July 2025, marking a new chapter in the MCU.
