Warner Bros. has acquired Pedro Almodóvar’s English-language film debut "The Room Next Door" for international territories, including the U.K.
Warner Bros. Pictures has acquired Pedro Almodóvar’s English-language film debut “The Room Next Door” for key international territories, including the U.K., Spain, Italy, Germany and Latin America. Starring Julianne Moore, Tilda Swinton and John Turturro, “The Room Next Door” will also be released by Warner Bros. Pictures in the Nordics, Central and Eastern Europe (excluding Poland) and some of the Asia Pacific markets, including Japan. “The film addresses the endless cruelty of war, the very different ways in which the two female authors approach and write about reality, death, friendship and sexual pleasure as the best allies in the fight against horror,” Warner Bros. Pictures wrote in a release.
