Peacock’s ‘Ted’ Show Is Surprisingly Great With Better VFX Than The MCU

The Ted show on Peacock is surprisingly great, and not just a huge hit for the service, but something you probably want to see for yourself.

Early on there’s a scene in the show where a liberal-minded cousin played by Giorgia Whigham is lecturing her family and Ted about being racist and bigoted in the 90s as her father debates whether Italians are white. I have no idea what magic they’re using here, but in an era of awful looking superhero shows, this genuinely looks like a living teddy bear as a sentient character acting alongside everyone else. While I have no idea if NBCUniversal money pit Peacock will survive until season 2 arrives, I imagine they will invest in more Ted for as long as they can, given the reception and viewership.
