Peacock Readies Streaming ‘Kornacki Cam’ for Election Night
NBCU's Peacock will launch a streaming 'Kornacki Cam' for coverage of Election Night 2024
Steve Kornacki is just one of the attractions for MSNBC fans who tune in for the cable-news outlet’s Election Night coverage. Executives at Peacock are actually tapping into a video concept called “multiview” that gained traction during the recent Paris Olympics More than 25% of Olympics viewers on Peacock watched via the feature, which allowed them to drill down to find events that may of been of more interest to niches of the overall crowd. “By expanding our popular multiview feature to election night, we’re coupling the incredible expertise of NBC News with Peacock’s leading technology to curate a customer-first way to watch election coverage,” said Kelly Campbell, president of Peacock and NBCU’s direct to consumer business, in a statement.
