Peacock has given a straight-to-series order to the female-led crime thriller “M.I.A.,” Variety has learned. “Ozark” ran for four seasons on Netflix and followed a family involved in laundering money for a drug cartel. Campbell has previously worked as a writer on “Dexter” and a writer/producer on series such as “Covert Affairs,” “Outlander,” “Raised by Wolves,” and the military drama “Six.” “M.I.A.” will mark her first outing as a showrunner.
