Damon Lindelof and Quinta Brunson are the first two guests of the pod, which is being co-hosted by comedian-actor-writers Gabe González and Joyelle Nicole Johnson, executive director of the Center for Media & Social Impact Caty Borum and Peabody executive director Jeffrey Jones. “Through a comedic and pop-culture lens, we hope to spark curiosity in award-winning TV programming that highlights timely social issues,” said Jones.“ We Disrupt This Broadcast offers incredible insights from some of the most thrilling media creators who are disrupting traditional broadcast narratives with new issues and perspectives from historically marginalized voices.
