Pauline Quirke's son Charlie has said that he has been 'moved' by the flurry of messages of support he's received as he broke his silence after the Birds Of A Feather star's dementia diagnosis. The actress' husband Steve Sheen revealed on Monday that the star, 65, is set to 'step away from all commercial and professional duties,' following a dementia diagnosis in 2021 (pictured in Birds Of A Feather in 1992) 'Demonstrating her acting versatility, she also starred or appeared in more than 60 TV and film productions, including Carrie's War, North and South, Casualty, Cold Blood, Thieving Headmistress, My Family, You, Me and the Apocalypse, and of course Emmerdale.'
