Paul O’Grady’s huge fortune as his widower wins bitter legal battle to turn late star's £3M home into holiday let

Paul O'Grady, who died in March 2023, left behind a huge fortune after amassing considerable wealth through his impressive TV career, and the amount has now been revealed

It comes just shortly after it was revealed his widower, Andre Portasio, had won a bitter legal battle with neighbours over his bid to turn part of Paul's £3 million Kent estate into a holiday let. Although some neighbours insisted Paul himself wouldn't have approved, others reportedly had written in support of the proposal, and officials at the local council have now given the scheme the go ahead. A close friend relayed to The Sun in March: "This is typical of Paul as he put his money where his mouth was by leaving cash to charities that had special meaning to him."
