Normal People first premiered in April 2020 on BBC Three in the UK and Hulu in the US, and fans have been clamoring for a second season ever since! In July 2020, just months after the show premiered, showrunners Ed Guiney and Lenny Abrahamson said that there were no discussions about a second season, but didn’t completely shut down the possibility. “I have a sneaking thing in the back of my head that if everybody was willing, and if the stars aligned, I’d love to revisit them in five years and find out what happened, where they are.
