Paul Danan's friends and family have gathered to say their final goodbyes to the Hollyoaks star at his funeral after his heartbreaking death last week aged just 46

Avon and Somerset Police issued a further update on Paul's death in a statement: "Officers attended a property in Brislington, Bristol, at around 5.20pm yesterday (Wednesday 15 January) where sadly a man in his 40s was declared deceased by paramedics. Speaking exclusively to the Mirror, Lizzie said: "I got changed just after The Jeremy Vine Show, Paul was such a dear friend and I wanted to be there to pay my respects because he was such a lovely guy with the biggest heart as we all know. Friends and family looked solemn as they prepared to say their goodbyes (Image: N.C)The former Big Brother and Love Island star - who played the role of Sol Patrick in Channel 4 soap Hollyoaks, between 1997 and 2001, had been due to appear in court just hours before his tragic death over drug and driving offences.
