Paul Danan dies at 46 just months after revealing tragic health battle over 'obsessive' vape use
Paul Danan has died at the age of 46, his management have confirmed in a statement. The actor and reality TV star was best known for his role as Sol Patrick in Hollyoaks
The star, who shot to fame straight out of drama school when he joined Hollyoaks, is believed to have smoked cigarettes for years before moving to disposable vapes which he previously admitted he would even 'go to sleep with' for comfort. He appeared on Celebrity Big Brother in 2017 (Image: Channel 5)He told The Sun of his terrifying hospital dash: 'I was dead — it's a miracle I'm here. The star had also been candid about his mental health struggles in recent times, and opened up on an Instagram video last year about his depression, and being unable to get out of bed.
