Patti Newton has temporarily pulled out of Grease: The Musical after being struck down with Covid.
Patti renewed her showbiz career as a way to cope with the loss of her beloved husband Bert Newton, who died in October 2021 at the age of 83. Woman's Day claimed that the troubled actor, who lives in the USA, is largely estranged from his family back in Australia and Patti was 'fighting for her son' to rejoin the fold in time for Christmas.
