Patrick Wachsberger’s 193 Inks Global Sales of ‘Die My Love,’ ‘Scandalous!,’ ‘The Surgeon’ and ‘Toxic Avenger’ From Inaugural Cannes Slate


Patrick Wachsberger's newly-launched 193 has signed global deals for its inaugural Cannes slate of films

The biggest film sale out of the Cannes market — at least during the festival — was undoubtedly Mubi’s splashy $24 million multi-territory acquisition of Lynn Ramsey’s competition entry “ Die My Love,” starring Jennifer Lawrence and Robert Pattinson. The deal came via 193, the newly-launched sales company from Legendary led by industry vet Patrick Wachsberger, with “Die My Love” one of several major titles it took to the festival as part of its augural Cannes slate. “This is a fantastic start for our company and a signal of the compelling projects we will continue to deliver.”
