Patrick Ta opened up about what went into creating his new Major Dimension Eye Illusion Eyeshadow Duos
“These are not your normal eyeshadows,” he said, explaining that the formula is made in Italy and called a “slurry,” which is baked instead of pressed and features “100% pearl” mixed in the powder, and no “filler” pigments. The celebrity makeup artist and glam expert — who has worked with everyone from Gigi Hadid and Shay Mitchell to Camila Cabello and Rosie Huntington-Whiteley and has his own cosmetics company — exclusively opened up to Us Weekly about his “unexpected” skincare secret: juicing. “I know how much it costs to make a formula like this, and sadly, for the customer, it’s not cheap and that’s why we have to drive up the price.” Star compared Patrick’s slurry to his own highlighter, made from the same Italian lab, and noted that his price point is similar to Ta’s at $50.
