While appearing on the Monday, April 8, episode of “Amy and T.J.,” Niemi reflected on the backlash she received when she married her second husband, Albert DePrisco, following Swayze’s death. From Patrick Swayze and Jennifer Grey’s onscreen dynamic to the classic hit song “(I’ve Had) The Time of My Life,” there’s a reason the movie became a Hollywood sensation. Swayze’s rep confirmed in a September 2009 statement that the actor “passed away peacefully” with his family by his side after “facing the challenges of his illness for the last 20 months.”
