Patricia Clarkson explains why playing Six Feet Under's 'crazy' Aunt Sarah was 'a blessing'

Patricia Clarkson credits the writing, directing, and the actors she was surrounded with for her two-time Emmy-winning role on 'Six Feet Under.'

Three-time Emmy winner Patricia Clarkson sat with Jesse Tyler Ferguson for his Dinner's on Me podcast and, naturally, the conversation turned to the celebrated HBO melodrama/dark comedy from the early aughts. Clarkson appeared as a semi-regular on the fatalistic series as the younger sister to the family matriarch played by Frances Conroy. Ferguson mentioned two that were released in 2003, The Station Agent, in which she played opposite Peter Dinklage, and Pieces of April, which got her an Academy Award nomination for Best Supporting Actress.
