Pat Sajak's final Wheel Of Fortune episode date REVEALED after host, 77, worked on show for 41 years... as Ryan Seacrest prepares to take over

The 77-year-old television icon has been hosting the show since 1981, when he replaced Chuck Woolery at Merv Griffin's request, but last June he announced he would be retiring after the 41st season.

Pat Sajak is filming his final episode of Wheel Of Fortune this Friday - and its eventual release date has now been revealed; pictured on the show last year I can say, along with the rest of America, that it's been a privilege and pure joy to watch Pat and Vanna on our television screens for an unprecedented 40 years, making us smile every night and feel right at home with them. Many people probably don't know this but one of my first jobs was hosting a little game show called Click for Merv Griffin 25 years ago so this is truly a full circle moment for me and I'm grateful to Sony for the opportunity,' he continued.
