Paramount+’s ‘Ctrl+Alt+Desire’ Explores a True Story of Loneliness, Cam Models and Murder (EXCLUSIVE)

'Ctrl+Alt+Desire,' a docuseries about one man's obsession with a cam model led to triple homicide, will debut April 16 on Paramount+

Colin Archdeacon, who is making his directorial debut on “Ctrl+Alt+Desire,” exposes a tale of a digital addiction, loneliness and a distorted reality leading to obsession, deceit, and, eventually, murder. Archdeacon filmed the series for four years, chronicling how Amato descended into chaos after discovering live-stream cam models who perform erotic acts online in exchange for money. In a desperate bid to hold Silvie’s attention, Amato reinvented himself online, crafting a confident, big spender alter ego by stealing $200,000 from his family in the months leading up to the murders.
