Paramount+ Expands Footprint in Japan Through Partnership With Local Streamer Lemino


Paramount+ is expanding its footprint in Japan through a partnership with local streamer Lemino.

The non-exclusive agreement will give Japanese viewers access to Paramount+ via Lemino Channel, which will be available as an à la carte subscription on the platform for a monthly fee of 770 yen ($5.40). The Lemino deal, which is now in effect, will see subscribers gain access to the full range of Paramount+ offerings that – besides “Yellowstone” and “Landman” – also comprises hit movies such as horror film “A Quiet Place: Day One,” Sylvester Stallone-starrer “Tulsa King” and spy series “The Agency” with Michael Fassbender, plus classic blockbuster movie franchises like “Mission: Impossible” and “Transformers.” Paramount + currently operates in the U.S., Canada, the U.K., Australia, Latin America, the Caribbean, Austria, France, Germany, Ireland, Italy, Switzerland and Japan.
