Paramount Pictures announced Tuesday that Courtney D. Armstrong has been named chief operating officer for the studio. “Courtney is one of the most well-respected and brilliant minds in the industry, and he has been invaluable in shaping, guiding, and leading all facets of our business dealings, as well as the strategic priorities for the company,” Robbins said in a statement. During his time at Warner Bros., he worked on films like “Wonder Woman,” “Dunkirk,” “The Dark Knight” trilogy, “Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald,” “The Lego Batman Movie,” “Justice League,” “Joker,” “Ocean’s 8” and many others.
