Paramount Global, Comcast Renew Distribution Deal That Now Includes Paramount+ With Showtime
Paramount Global and Comcast renewed distribution deals for Par’s portfolio of networks. They include Paramount+ with Showtime for Xfinity platforms.
Paramount Global and Comcast have renewed a set of comprehensive distribution agreements to continue delivering Par’s portfolio of broadcast, entertainment, news and sports brands across Xfinity platforms. Showtime is no longer a standalone studio or cable network, having been folded into a streaming offer with Paramount+, but has popular IP including new prequel series Dexter: Original Si n. “ Paramount Global is a valued partner, and we are excited to continue providing Xfinity customers with access to their traditional and streaming content across our industry-leading entertainment platforms,” he said.
