Paramore Teases a Talking Heads Cover in Collaboration With A24: Watch
The band shared a brief sneak peek at the project on Instagram.
The band announced Wednesday (Jan. 10) that it will be one of 16 artists to contribute a song to upcoming tribute album Stop Making Sense put together by the production company, sharing a sneak peek of its corresponding music video on Instagram. In the clip, frontwoman Hayley Williams opens a big cardboard box sent to her door and pulls out a large gray suit jacket — one that looks remarkably like the oversized staple worn by Talking Heads’ David Byrne. The group also dropped out of this year’s iHeartRadio ALTer EGO show “due to unforeseen circumstances” without giving any explanation, only adding in a statement at the time, “The band apologizes for any inconvenience.”
