Pamela Anderson to Receive Golden Eye Award at Zurich Film Festival


Pamela Anderson will receive the Golden Eye Award to recognize her career achievements before presenting 'The Last Showgirl' with Gia Coppola.

When her show in Las Vegas is cancelled after 30 years, she faces an uncertain future and tries to mend her long-neglected relationship with her daughter, with the help of her colleague Annette, played by Jamie Lee Curtis. The festival commented: “Director Gia Coppola has crafted a touching and bittersweet homage to a dancer in the twilight of her career with this nocturnal Las Vegas film. Christian Jungen, artistic director of the Zurich Film Festival, said: “Pamela poured her heart and soul into the character of Shelley and captivated us right from the start.
