Pamela Anderson 'was offered opportunity to appear on Baywatch documentary' - amid notable absence from show

TMZ reports that Anderson was asked if she wanted to participate in the documentary, After Baywatch: Moment In The Sun, but turned down the offer.

It's also unclear if Baywatch alum David Hasselhoff will be appearing in the show - his name was not listed on a press release about the docu-series, however TMZ reports the actor did take part in an interview for the series back when it was originally titled 'Baywatch: The Documentary.' The press release boasts that the series is 'a nostalgic and insightful exploration of Baywatch, the cultural phenomenon that defined an era, and an unprecedented look into the stars who brought the world’s most famous lifeguards to life.' Through dozens of new cast interviews and never-before-seen footage, this docuseries unpacks how the show captured the mythology of California’s beach culture, set physical beauty standards for an entire generation, and capitalized on the adage 'sex sells."'
