Palace Gives Update on Charles' Cancer Days Before Scheduled Royal Return
King Charles III will make his first public-facing appearance on Tuesday, April 30, at a local London cancer treatment facility with his wife, Queen Camilla
“His Majesty The King will shortly return to public-facing duties after a period of treatment and recuperation following his recent cancer diagnosis,” a statement released by the palace on Friday, April 26, reads. Buckingham Palace announced in February 2024 that King Charles III received a cancer diagnosis one week after he was admitted to The London Clinic to undergo treatment for an enlarged prostate.
