Paddy McGuinness takes swipe at ex wife Christine just one minute into new stand-up show
Comic Paddy McGuinness has embarked on a new stand-up tour, and on the first night immediately took a swipe at his ex-wife Christine as part of his routine
Paddy joked he was touring so he could afford his divorce (Image: Getty Images) Christine wasn’t the only person Paddy had a dig at – his routine also took swipes at celebrities including former newsreader Huw Edwards, Amazon boss Jeff Bezos, Prince Andrew(“He never breaks a sweat, does he?”), Cast Away’s Phillip Schofield and Simon Cowell, who he described as having “a face like a melted Caramac.” When Paddy announced his stand up tour earlier this year, he did reveal that he would delve into personal matters on stage, including his and Christine’s break up and the challenges of parenting their three autistic children.
