Paddy McGuinness is in high spirits as he stops off in Blackpool during day two of his 300 mile cycle challenge on a Raleigh Chopper for Children In Need


The TV personality, 51, is in the midst of a mammoth 300 mile ride from Wrexham AFC to Glasgow on a Raleigh Chopper, to raise funds for the charity.

Paddy McGuinness was in high spirits as he stopped off in Blackpool during the second day of Radio 2's Ultra Endurance Cycle Challenge for BBC Children in Need on Tuesday. His route began at Moor Park in Preston, onto Blackpool Promenade, through Lancashire, crossing the River Wyre, passing Lancaster Castle, into Cumbria to Barrows Green with a hill climb of 200 feet. The star has had no help from a personal trainer, and the only cycling advice he has had has been from Olympic gold medalist Sir Chris Hoy (pictured) who recently revealed his terminal cancer diagnosis
