Paddy McGuinness fundraising total latest as 'broken' star, 51, tackles final leg of Children In Need challenge

Paddy's 300-mile challenge is coming to an end as he sets off for his Glasgow finish line, having raised a seriously impressive amount for Children In Need by taking on the gruelling journey

Paddy McGuiness has set off on the final leg of his remarkable five day Children in Need challenge, as the total he has risen for the charity during his epic journey continues to rise. Although Paddy admitted “everything is aching” before he set off on the last leg of the Ultra Endurance Cycle Challenge on Friday, which sees him pedalling a massive 300 miles on a Raleigh Chopper all the way from Wrexham AFC to Glasgow, he was in good spirits and over the moon about the money he has raised. On Zoe Ball's BBC Radio 2 breakfast show aired on Wednesday, Paddy was visibly moved learning that he had smashed the £1m mark in donations, as he took a hard-earned break amidst the rugged terrain of the Cumbrian hills.
