Paddy McGuinness 'is being lined-up to front his own BBC Radio 2 show' after impressing listeners while standing in for host Rylan Clark

The TV personality, 50, temporarily held the fort for Rylan's Saturday afternoon show while he was away filming 'something very special'.

'Like fellow Bolton-born host Vernon Kay, Paddy’s Northern tones — and cheesy dad jokes — work well on air, and he has come up with some brilliant, innovative ideas for formats of his own.' The father-of-three has also previously held the fort on Vernon Kay's mid-morning show in November while the host was running an ultra marathon for Children In Need. The Harbottle and Lewis website states: 'Depending on each client’s needs, Catherine’s approach is tailor made - whether that be successful negotiating outside of the court process or tough litigating within it.'
