At the top of the ninth inning of the May 12 game against the Mariners, Oswaldo sprinted to home plate and managed to avoid a tag by Seattle’s catcher Cal Raleigh. After the game ended, the Mariners tweeted, “Wishing the best for Oswaldo Cabrera.” Yankees manager Aaron Boone said that everyone understood this was “a pretty serious situation.”
