Oscars: Past Winners Will Introduce Current Acting Nominees (Exclusive)
The Academy is bringing back a hugely popular format that it first and last tried at the Oscars ceremony held 15 years ago.
Over the 15 years since that night, which was the brainchild of producers Laurence Mark and Bill Condon, Oscar lovers have been begging the Academy to bring back this Field of Dreams-like format. Heath Ledger(posthumously) being presented with the best supporting actor Oscar by Alan Arkin, Cuba Gooding Jr., Joel Grey, Kevin Kline and Christopher Walken. Penélope Cruz being presented with the best supporting actress Oscar by Whoopi Goldberg, Goldie Hawn, Anjelica Huston, Eva Marie Saint and Tilda Swinton.
