Oscars 2024 In Memoriam segment is branded 'disgraceful' as the likes of Suzanne Somers and Angus Cloud are left out while viewers struggle to read the names of those included because of 'distracting' dance routine


The Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences remembered those who have passed away with the annual In Memoriam segment at Oscars 2024, though some were not included.

The segment was set to a new version of Andrea Bocelli's classic song Time to Say Goodbye, which he sung on stage with his son Matteo Plenty of high-profile actors who were left out like Lance Reddick, Suzane Somers and Treat Williams Others such as Ron Cephas Jones, Burt Young, writer/producer Norman Lear and filmmaker Terence Davies He also forged quite the career on the small screen too, playing the title character in the Eddie Dodd miniseries, patriarch Dr. Andy Brown in Everwood, plus roles in Against the Wall, White Collar, American Odyssey, Chicago Fire, to name a few. Norman Lear is a legendary TV creator of All in the Family and Sanford and Son, but he also wrote movies like Divorce American Style, The Night They Raided Minsky's and Cold Turkey
