Fans may not know that before he became known as the queer, masked desperado making a sizable impact in the country music industry, Peck worked as a trained actor. Studying at the London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art, Peck previously performed in the Olivier Award-nominated West End play Peter Pan Goes Wrong. Cabaret director Rebecca Frecknell shared her own thoughts on Peck’s casting, saying that she was thrilled to bring another “contemporary musician” to the role after working with Lambert.
