Orville Peck Unmasked: Singer Will Show Face As Emcee In Broadway’s ‘Cabaret At The Kit Kat Club’
Peck confirms he will not wear a mask on Broadway.
Orville PeckSam Ramirez Since the announcement came in January that country music star Orville Peck will replace Adam Lambert as the next Emcee in Broadway ‘s Cabaret at the KitKat Club, the question in fans’ minds was whether he’ll perform with his trademark mask, perhaps somehow glitzed up to match Cabaret ‘s outré style, or whether he’d ditch the trademark altogether. He’ll be joined in Cabaret by Hadestown star Eva Noblezada as Sally Bowles, and both will play a limited 16-week engagement at the August Wilson Theatre starting Monday, March 31, through Sunday, July 20. They’ll take over for Adam Lambert and Auli‘i Cravalho who, as previously announced, will play their final performances on Saturday evening, March 29.
