Orlando Bloom & Domhnall Gleeson Join Kate & Rooney Mara In ‘Bucking Fastard’ With HanWay Boarding For Cannes; Werner Herzog Says Film Completes A Trilogy After ‘Fitzcarraldo’ And ‘Grizzly Man’
Orlando Bloom & Domhnall Gleeson have joined Rooney and Kate Mara in Werner Herzog's latest film Bucking Fastard.
HanWay Films has boarded the project to rep worldwide sales and will be sharing first footage from Dublin, Sligo (Ireland) and Slovenia with buyers at Cannes. The private equity-backed film is produced by Clara Wu Tsai, Ariel Leon Isacovitch and Agnes Chu, with Kieran Corrigan, Emanuele Moretti and Andrea Bucko. Herzog reteams with key creative collaborators with whom he has worked on previous projects, including Peter Zeitlinger ( Bad Lieutenant) as DoP, Marco Capalbo ( The Fire Within: A Requiem for Katia and Maurice) as editor, and Ernst Reijseger ( Rescue Dawn) as composer.
