Oprah Winfrey is recovering after being hospitalized due to a stomach virus and dehydration.

On June 11, the 70-year-old was missing from a scheduled appearance on CBS Mornings to reveal her latest book club pick. Winfrey is recovering following a stomach virus and received an IV due to dehydration at the recommendation of her doctor,” the spokesperson adds. Although she couldn’t make her appearance on the show, Winfrey posted on Instagram about her book club pick, "Familiaris" by David Wroblewski.
