Opera star Russell Watson breaks down in tears after touching message on The One Show
The One Show was briefly delayed on Monday evening as opera singer Russell Watson was left in tears after a touching message from the consultant during his cancer battle
The opera star appeared alongside presenters Alex Jones and Roman Kemp to reveal his heroic comeback to the music industry following a harrowing fight with two brain tumours. Russell, who appeared last year on I'm A Celeb... began his interview on a lighter note, joining in with Will Ferrell as he recollected his iconic singing cameo in the comedy film Step Brothers. Opening up about his health battles' long-lasting impac t, Russell confessed that even after 25 rounds of radiotherapy in 2008, the challenges persist, sharing with viewers his bout of depression during recovery.
