An Only Fools and Horses star had a 27-year relationship with an actor who once played her on-screen son.
In 1985, the actress married co-star Douglas, who would later portray an adult version of her on-screen son Damien, and they spent 27 years together before splitting in February 2013. It read: 'I'm able to confirm that Tessa and Douglas separated in the autumn of last year by mutual and amicable agreement and they will continue to raise their two children jointly.' Meanwhile Damien has since gone on to have a successful career in theatre, winning the Laurence Oliver and Tony awards for his performance in the play La Cage aux Folles.
