Former One Direction star Zayn Malik has announced a new TV role that he was inspired to accept for Khai, his three year old daughter with Gigi Hadid
The former One Direction singer, who is dad to three year old daughter Khai, will read from Music is in Everything on Wednesday 22 May, a book about the power and beauty of song written by reggae musician Ziggy Marley. From the sound of ocean waves to banging pots and pans in the kitchen, from a loved one's laughter to the ‘river's latest tune’, Ziggy’s story tells children that you don't need an instrument to create a beautiful song. Dolly Parton, Elton John, Ed Sheeran, former Doctor Whos David Tennant and Jodie Whittaker, Avengers star Chris Evans (who fittingly read Even Superheroes Have Bad Days), Bridgerton’s Rege-Jean Page and Friends star David Schwimmer have all read a CBeebies story, while Tom Hardy has become a fan favourite for not only appearing on the series twice in the past, but returning in 2023 for six special episodes filmed in his back garden.
