Omar Epps Signs With Independent Artist Group
Actor Omar Epps has signed with Independent Artist Group, with projects 'The Perfect Couple' and 'The Deliverance' coming up for release.
Recently starring in three seasons of Starz’s hit crime drama Power Book III: Raising Kanan, which is coming back for a fourth, Epps is otherwise perhaps best known for starring alongside Hugh Laurie across all eight seasons of Fox’s acclaimed medical drama House. Other notable big-screen credits include Gina Prince-Bythewood’s acclaimed debut feature Love & Basketball and the hit urban drama Juice, as well as college cult classic The Program opposite Halle Berry and John Singleton’s Higher Learning. Up next, Epps will be seen in two starry projects for Netflix: Lee Daniels’ horror thriller The Deliverance with Andra Day, Mo’Nique, Aunjanue Ellis and more, and limited series The Perfect Couple, based on Elin Hilderbrand’s New York Times bestseller, which has him sharing the screen with Nicole Kidman and Liev Schreiber, among others.
