Olympics star arrested on 'suspicion of buying cocaine' in Paris as they're taken into custody

The Australian Olympic Committee have confirmed that a member of the country's hockey team was arrested in Paris on Tuesday night after they were 'caught trying to buy cocaine'

The Australian Olympic Committee has dropped the bombshell that an Aussie hockey player has been arrested by police on a night out. Local media reported on Wednesday, 7 August, that the sports star had allegedly been caught attempting to buy cocaine on the streets of Paris, leading to them being taken into custody. Australia's dreams at the men's hockey tournament were dashed earlier this week by the Netherlands, who smoothly sailed into a 2-0 victory, knocking the Aussies out of the game, reports the Mirror.
