Olympics commentator removed from Paris Games coverage over outrageous' sexist comment
Eurosport have removed commentator Bob Ballard from their coverage of the Paris Olympics after he made a 'sexist' remark about the Australian women's swimming team
The incident took place after the Australian team, consisting of Mollie O'Callaghan, Shayna Jack, Emma McKeon and Meg Harris, clinched gold for their country. Anna Hopkin, Eva Oparo, Lucy Hope and Freya Anderson put in a solid performance finishing seventh, snapping closely at the heels of host nation France. The win for the Aussie ladies saw Emma outshining Olympic legend Ian Thorpe's triumphant tally of five gold medals at global games.
