Tensions rose on The Project on Sunday night as Ian Thorpe took a brutal swipe at his television rival Peter Helliar during an interview.
The pair are competitors on The Amazing Race Celebrity Edition this year, which wrapped filming in June, with Peter's wife Bridget and Ian's friend Christian Miranda. Ian immediately took fire at Peter, calling out the scenes which saw the radio presenter standing back to let his wife Bridget complete the difficult task.
