Olympic swimmer Bronte Campbell's sister Cate reveals the one shock reason she was 'mad' about her sibling's engagement
Aussie swimmer Bronte, 30, got engaged just after her stint at the 2024 Paris Olympics, with her boyfriend Benfield Lainchbury proposing in Venice.
'He didn't get down on one knee, which I was a little bit mad about, but I'm glad he popped the question,' she told Ben Fordham on his 2GB morning radio show. Bronte and her new fiance Benfield, who live in north Bondi, are set to return to Australia in a matter of days after their romantic holiday. Another photograph captured the couple's joy just moments after Benfield popped the question on a canal boat ride in Venice.
