He has covered the AFL Grand Final, Melbourne Cup, Australian Open and Test cricket, as well as special events such as the Brownlow Medal. The black and white snap saw Bruce sporting a huge smile as he proved to be in touch with the fashion of the time in a leather jacket and wide striped collar. Regarded as the voice of footy for his work calling the AFL, Bruce also achieved the moniker of 'Mr Olympics' for his vast coverage of the Games over the years.
