Olivia Rodrigo’s Manchester Shows Canceled Due to Technical Issues at Venue
Olivia Rodrigo's upcoming shows in Manchester, England have been canceled due to technical issues at Co-Op Live arena.
“I’ve been having such a great time in Europe so far and I’m sooooo disappointed that we’re unable to perform in Manchester due to ongoing technical issues,” Rodrigo wrote in an Instagram story. The venue then postponed a makeup gig by the Black Keys and two shows by comedian Peter Kay, and axed a performance by A Boogie Wit Da Hoodie, set for earlier this week. Oak View Group chief executive Tim Leiweke said in a statement following the incident, “The safety and security of all visiting and working on Co-op Live is our utmost priority, and we could not and will not run any event until it is absolutely safe to do so.”
