Performing the Guts track at the Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles on Sunday, Rodrigo arrived onstage in a deep red silk gown, tearing through the track as streaks of blood slowly appeared on her arms and face. Following the release of Guts last September, Rodrigo brought the highlight “Get Him Back!” to the VMAs. She’s kept quite busy since, performing on SNL, ushering her hero Sheryl Crow into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, and releasing “ Can’t Catch Me Now ” for the Hunger Games prequel The Ballad Of Songbirds & Snakes.
