Olivia Munn, 43, diagnosed with breast cancer, reveals she underwent double mastectomy

“I went from feeling completely fine one day, to waking up in a hospital bed after a 10-hour surgery the next,” she wrote on Instagram Wednesday.

The “X-Men: Apocalypse” actress credited her family, friends and longtime love John Mulaney for their support throughout her cancer journey. “I’m so thankful to John for the nights he spent researching what every operation and medication meant and what side effects and recovery I could expect,” she continued. Munn concluded her message by thanking her physicians, the staff at Cedars-Sinai and Saint John’s in Santa Monica, Calif., calling her OBGYN, Dr. Thaïs Aliabadi, her “guardian angel.”
